About me
I'm Jan, a full stack developer living in the UK. After 8 years of working in sales I decided to take the plunge and turn my software development hobby into a full-time career.
I've spent the last 2.5 years honing my skills by creating web apps in JavaScript and TypeScript using the React and Vue.Js frameworks.
On the mobile side of things, I've created complex apps with the help of React Native. On the back end I use both Express and Node.js extensively, creating APIs that interact with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (Cloud Firestore) and MongoDB databases.
I'm now also teaching myself C++ and will soon have a couple of small projects that I'll show off on the 'My Work' page. Keep an eye out for those.
